The RCG-Soccer Challenge 2018

Once again, the 7th RCG soccer tournament is all about team spirit and internationality.

On November 24, our employees will change their business outfits for football tricots again – then 16 teams from 10 different countries will compete in the Veterná Sports Centre in Slovakia. For the first time, the final match will be broadcast via live stream.

With around 8,400 employees and branches throughout Europe, the Rail Cargo Group is one of the leading international rail logistics companies. Perfect logistics solutions are realised through teamwork, competence and passion. The team spirit paired with enthusiasm will also be necessary at the 7th international RCG football tournament, when 16 teams from 10 different countries will match for the first place. After the venues in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy and Germany, the indoor soccer event will take place in Šamorín, Slovakia this time.

Kickoff

For the past seven years, soccer enthusiastic RCG employees have been meeting in a sporty setting to promote team spirit and health at the same time. The whistle will blow again in November: The group games are played in the morning, the lunch break is used by the players to gain new power at the buffet, and in the afternoon, the teams will fight hard to reach the final. This will be followed by the award ceremony, during which the challenge cup will be handed over and the office of the winning team will be decorated for a whole year – until the tournament next year.
