The transport logistic 2019 in Munich

30. 04. 2019

This year we will again be represented from 4 to 7 June at Europe's largest logistics trade fair, which takes place every two years in Munich.

Around 2,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries and more than 60,000 visitors enter into an active dialogue and exchange information on innovations and developments in the international transport and logistics sector.

Visit us in Hall B6, Stand 217/318 and in the outdoor area, Track 1/6.

Our 300 m², open and two-storey stand will allow you to immerse yourself in the logistics world of RCG.

On the 5th of June also the board members Clemens Först, Thomas Kargl and Imre Kovács as well as CEO of ÖBB Andreas Matthä will be there.

This year everything is about TransPORT

Our maritime, continental and conventional TransFER connections in Europe and Asia are the backbone of international rail freight traffic and our efficient TransNET network.

TransANT, the revolutionary platform wagon innovation that recently won a sustainability award, will be exhibited in the outdoor area.

The revolutionary platform wagon will in future help to shift more transports from road to rail and thus make a significant contribution to climate protection.

In addition, we will also be presenting the prototype of a new tipping container from our business partner Innofreight, the developer of innovative wagons, containers and unloading systems.

Innovative, smart & environmentally friendly

In addition, the focus will be on SmartCargo, the GPS equipment of our wagons, and the digitalisation of rail freight traffic. By using intelligent systems, more freight is to be shifted to the railways.

More goods on rail

Rail freight transport causes only about seven percent of a truck's CO2 emissions per tonne.

The Rail Freight Forward Coalition was formed to protect the environment and shift more freight to rail. This coalition of European rail freight companies aims to increase rail's share of the European freight transport market until 2030 to 30 percent and thus protect the environment!

In December, the climate ambassador Noah's Train, the longest mobile artwork, was sent on a journey for this purpose. Two artistically designed containers were loaded onto the train on each of its stops on the way across Europe (more to read).

At the transport logistic you have the opportunity to see a Noah's Train container live and support the coalition with an Instagram post!

Visit us at the Munich fair, take a picture in front of Noah's Train and tag it on Instagram with @RailFreightForward and #NoahsTrain !

Updates to come!
