Our customers have got the goods, we’ve got all the warehouse expertise and experience needed for professional freight handling. We combine both at our warehouses and logistics premises all over Europe with storage space for more than 400,000 pallets. Including Desio, one of our bases in the North of Italy. Our warehouse logistics is part of our digital service portfolio SmartLINK.
Goods often have to go into temporary storage or get loaded and unloaded as part of their journey – that’s where our team of experts comes in! An extensive range of services and well thought-out logistics systems facilitate efficient warehouse logistics for our customers. We’ve got two sites in Northern Italy: in Desio and in the Province of Monza and Brianza.
Our warehouse is located right on the rail line between Milan and Chiasso, 20 kilometres away from Milan and about 40 kilometres from the state border with Austria. Its central location makes it particularly attractive in terms of the markets and key economic hubs of Northern Italy. The warehouse has its own rail connection to the nearby Desio railway station and its proximity to one of the most important road networks north of Milan make it easily accessible. Twelve railway sidings connect Desio with Switzerland and Germany via Chiasso every week; once a week with Austria. Thanks to our dense network of qualified suppliers, our trains from Desio go practically anywhere.
Our service portfolio includes loading and unloading trucks and wagons as well as freight storage. Especially when it comes to handling steel goods like coils, sheets and pipes, the warehouse crew has many years of experience and they put it into action for our customers day-in, day-out.
Our warehouse in Desio is one of the most modern and best equipped logistics centres in Lombardy. Our large premises and vast range of equipment allow us to cover all our customers’ individual needs. Many of our processes are digitally supported, so goods can be traced at any time. What’s more, we’re continuously investing in the warehouse facilities and are modernising our premises to make them even more eco-friendly and efficient.
