The 7 "Most Wanted" - A portrait of our most popular freight trains

Raw material TransFER: With our raw material transports, we keep the "international industrial engine" running. For example, we transport more than 13 million metric tons of iron ore and coal by rail for the processing industry, mostly directly from mines or ports of entry.

Single-wagon TransFER: Most of the time, our customers don't need a whole train, but just one container, one wagon or a group of wagons. Then they commission us, comparable with a parcel service for large, heavy goods: we pick up the wagons from service points in our extensive network and transport them in mixed trains along an ideal route via one or more marshalling yards to their destination.

Block train Consumer Goods: Food and beverage manufacturers as well as retail chains and producers of household appliances rely on our expertise in transporting consumer goods and non-food products: We move one million liters of beverages and two million household appliances by rail every year. Our services range from the delivery of raw materials to warehouse supply and distribution solutions in the retail sector.

Intermodal block train: In intermodal transport, we combine the advantages of rail and road as well as water and air in one transport chain. In most cases, the goods travel in containers that are easy to load and where the goods reach their destination protected from wind and weather.

Block train logs: From the forestry operation directly to the sawmill or from the timber yard directly to the pulp and paper industry for further processing: timber transport is one of our core competencies. This is evidenced by the approximately 100,000 log wagons and six million solid cubic meters of logs transported each year.

ROLA TransFER: The "Rolling Road" (ROLA) allows trucks to travel by rail: Using the special wagon concept, we can transport entire trucks by rail. ROLA operates on routes where road traffic is a particular burden - for example, at the Brenner Pass. In this way, we protect the environment and the time budget of the freight forwarders.

Mineral oil TransFER: As a long-standing partner of the mineral oil industry, we have made a name for ourselves with professional tank car management and tank storage supply tailored to demand. We transport the mineral oil directly from the transhipment ports to the refineries or from the refineries to the tank terminals, paying particular attention to safety.
