When you meet Felix for the first time, you immediately notice the calm and level-headedness that the young man displays. A characteristic that also benefits the 18-year-old in his daily work. Felix has been training as a forwarding agent at RCG in Innsbruck since September 2019.
Felix is currently working in the Service Delivery department. A job with great responsibility, where quick decisions and tact are required. "With Felix we have had a great pleasure from the first day on. A committed young man who completes his training with flying colours and takes on every new challenge. The colleagues he works with every day are enthusiastic about him," agree Franz Heissenberger, apprentice training manager at RCG, and Simone Knabl-Bitsche, head of Service Delivery Tyrol and Vorarlberg.
Commitment at work and in his free time
But Felix is not only competent and committed on the job. The young Zillertal native is also full of zeal in his private life. He has been playing the trombone in the Strass im Zillertal music chapel for five years. In addition, Felix Thaler has been an active member of the Strass im Zillertal voluntary fire brigade for two years and is always ready when help or support is needed. On 12 July 2023, Felix was awarded the coveted "Apprentice of the Month" trophy by Provincial Councillor Astrid Mair for his commitment to his job and his free time.
Nomination for the "Tyrolean Apprentice of the Year
As "Apprentice of the Month" in July, Felix is automatically nominated for the election of the "Apprentice of the Year 2023". The award will be presented next year at the "Gala Night of Apprentices" in Innsbruck, probably in May. In addition to the assessment of the annual jury, the public voting and the evaluation of the evening jury will also flow into the result. We wish Felix all the best for the future and keep our fingers crossed for him in the election for "Apprentice of the Year". He certainly has what it takes!
