At the centre of the action: our warehouse in Prague

17. 11. 2021

Almost 30,000 m² of storage space and a direct railway siding: Our warehouse in Prague-Malešice provides us with a presence in one of Europe's most important logistics hotspots. We demonstrate our entire know-how by providing comprehensive services locally.

Its location makes the Czech Republic one of the most important logistics centres in Central Europe. That is why we are there, to guarantee our customers smooth transportation processes: The warehouse which opened in 2019 in Prague-Malešice is one of only a few warehouses in the area with a direct railway siding. That means we are in a position to offer our customers even more comprehensive services, with no time lost on the way from the warehouse to the rail and vice versa. In line with the concept: No traffic jams, no driving bans, with storage and transport by rail from a single source.

Our experts are on duty around the clock and provide various services: From transshipment to storage and retrieval, palletising and container loading to cross docking – a type of transshipment in which goods are delivered pre-commissioned by the supplier and storage is not required.

All-round service for intermodal transport

On the 29,700 m² site – 9,700 m² of which are covered and 20,000 m² uncovered – our team handles all the necessary steps for reliable onward transport by rail or truck. After all, the direct connectivity to the rail network, as well as to the motorway, makes the warehouse in Prague-Malešice ideal for combining rail and truck transport.

We connect markets

A strong presence in the Czech Republic is important for us as a leading railway logistics provider, as from our warehouse we offer transport to and from the most important ports in Europe and open up economic markets in Central, Western and Eastern Europe as well as in the Asian region. This primarily involves organising freight transports to and from the German ports of Bremerhaven and Hamburg, the Adriatic ports in Koper (Slovenia), Trieste (Italy) and Rijeka (Croatia), the Polish port of Gdansk, or to Bratislava and Žilina (Slovakia), Vratimov and Paskov (Czech Republic) and Kaliningrad (Russia). In addition, we have container terminals in the Czech Republic in Brno, Mělník, Ostrava and Přerov: From here we head for destinations mainly in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland.
