Noah´s Train is going around the world

10. 10. 2019

It began at the COP24 global climate conference a year ago with two containers in Katowice, Poland. Today it is a strong European movement and the longest mobile artwork. On Friday, October 11, Noah's Train, our climate ambassador, will reach the port of Rotterdam, where we are hosting a big anniversary event in its honour.

Leading European rail freight companies as well as international interest associations and the RFF initiative have only one goal: to drastically reduce the negative impact of freight transport on our planet. For this reason, Noah´s Train was sent on a journey through Europe as a strong voice for environmental protection. We are getting ready to receive Noah´s Train at the Port of Rotterdam. The preparations for the anniversary event are in full swing.

3, 2, 1 go!

A warm welcome to the CEOs of international freight transport companies, industry leaders, stakeholders, political decision-makers as well as the media and guests of the anniversary event. Clemens Först, CEO of Rail Cargo Group, and Geert Pauwels, CEO of Lineas, will speak in their presentation about the importance of taking measures today, increasing the share of rail freight traffic and shifting freight away from road to environmentally friendly rail. Choosing an optimal transport mix is the ne plus ultra in the logistics of the future.

For the first time, competitors in the highly competitive rail freight market are working together on one vision. Because everyone knows that modal shift can only work when we work together.
