Telematics systems with vehicle tracking devices that provide precise GPS coordinates are not a big deal anymore; they have been state-of-the-art for a while. The market demands cutting-edge technology.
What our customers want is real-time information, quality, safety and sustainability – across the entire supply chain. This is something that is becoming more and more important in the context of cross-border freight traffic.
We have got together with A1 Digital to set new standards in the highly competitive logistics industry and have launched the “SmartCargo” project. This intelligent telematics solution for our freight wagons is a huge step forward into the world of modern logistics.

We kitted out the first of our wagons with the SmartCargo device last year. Now we’ve got about 10,000 smart wagons!
